The Heart Rate Challenge

Sound so Good, it’s scary

Although the Studio 3D Mini was one of the smallest sound bars in the world, it still sounded clearer, more expansive, and louder than most sound bars twice its side. But how do you convince people of that when they don’t have an opportunity to hear it for themselves?

I worked with Superconductor to demonstrate just how shockingly powerful the Studio 3D Mini could be.

Take the Challenge, If you dare

The audio track from the video was designed to make people uncomfortable and raise their heart rates. While we played it in 5.1 surround sound for the video tests, the version here is mixed in stereo.

Put on your headphones, crank up the volume, and hear what got everyone so overexcited.

(Blindfolds optional.)

Terrifyingly Good Results

  • The Studio 3D Mini secured placement in Best Buy despite its steep price tag.

  • Several Best Buy stores reproduced the Heart Rate Challenge on-site for their more adventurous shoppers.

  • The Heart Rate Challenge campaign was nominated for a Webby in Sound Design.

Let’s talk.
